This is what Couponing for a Great Cause Looks Like – Thank you Dr. Suarez & Knights of Columbus!!

COUPONING FOR A GREAT CAUSE TO BENEFIT THE FAMILY HOUSE IN TOLEDO, OHIO

If you’ve ever wondered why I coupon, here is the main reason:  We can share with so many less fortunate people and bless them. It’s not just about saving for my own family but being able to help so many others.  Matthew 25:40

As many of you know our son, Jonah, has a very rare heart condition that required open heart surgery. Dr. Suarez is the physician who found the problem and was ultimately able to get him the care he needed.

At Jonah’s last appointment a few weeks back he asked me if I could help him stretch his donation from the Knights of Columbus to help the Family House. So I got all the coupons and he and I and 18 other people joined us (to stay within the coupon guidelines) and stretched his money. 

THANK YOU to everyone who came out yesterday to make this couponing haul possible.  We had to stay within the coupon policy so we needed many shoppers to come out and help us. 

Also, a special thank you to Molly and Madison, who were two amazing cashiers. 

As you can tell, we are having a little bit of FUN.  This honestly is my happy place 🙂 

The best part about couponing is doing it with others and knowing it is going to a wonderful charity. I feel so blessed to be able to share my coupon knowledge with others and was honored to help. 

I also love to get kids involved. For them to realize the impact they can have on others and to know how truly blessed they are. We have instilled this into our kids since they were toddlers.

In the one pic you can barely see Dr. Suarez because his truck is so loaded. We said it was kind of like “Where’s Waldo” . . only we were playing “Where’s Dr. Suarez”.  

It was so exciting to see how jam packed his truck was.  Thank you to so many of you who came out and helped. I know Dr. Suarez really appreciates it as well as the Family House. 

This was the final donation from last night.  Dr. Suarez will be getting more today and bless them some more, but this is what we were able to bless them with, with using coupons.  He does this twice a year so we will be helping him again! 

I LOVE being a part of something so much bigger than us.  Coupons truly can bless so many people if we all join together.  Plus, it’s more fun doing it as a TEAM.  I know Dr. Suarez really appreciates it as well as the Family House. Look at how tall that Viva Paper Towel Tower is. . .

Dr. Suarez and the Knights of Columbus do this twice a year so we will be helping him again! In addition, please start collecting feminine care products, deodorant, shampoos, razors and so much more.

I am so thankful to so many of you Ashley, Jason, Beth and her kids, Tammy and her friend, Julie, DeAnna and everyone else who came out to help. The last pic is of Jonah and Dr. Suarez! He will forever hold a special place in our heart. GOD IS GOOD. . . ALL THE TIME!!

This is a special picture to our family. This is Jonah and Dr. Suarez. What an amazing testimony Jonah has and we will forever be grateful to Dr. Suarez for diagnosing Jonah’s issue and saving his life. He is a good Christian man and we know that God used him to help our family!

BTW: Jonah is finally taller than Dr. Suarez lol 🙂
