So many AMAZING stories so far and we have only completed 60 Random Acts of Kindness! It is so encouraging and exciting to watch God at work. What has been your favorite so far?? THANK YOU JESUS!!
I think I will start posting the night before so everyone can like and share with their friends and family. Let’s get everyone we know involved in this movement.
**DAY 60 CHALLENGE**
Apple Crisp (Like no other:)
Ingredients
10 cups of apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
1 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup water
1 cup quick-cooking oats
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup butter, melted
Instructions
1. Preheat oven at 350 degrees
2. Place the sliced apples in 9 x 13 inch pan. Mix the white sugar, 1 tablespoon flour and ground cinnamon together, and sprinkle over apples. Pour water evenly over all.
3. Combine the oats, 1 cup flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and melted butter together. Crumble evenly over the apple mixture.
4. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. This is the best apple crisp I have ever had:)
Today, I challenge everyone to bake cookies or cupcakes or any treat (we are making the apple crisp pictured above) or even store bought and take to a public service worker, i.e. fire station, police station, etc. This week we will be taking to our local grocery store. It could even be your local gas station, hair salon, or any place you feel God is leading you to take these goodies to. Make sure to attach a ‘Thank you” and also include one of the 365 Days of Kindness cards HERE or make your own card. Who’s in? I am praying that everyone gets involved in this. None of us can help everyone, but all of us can help someone, and when we do we serve Jesus. We can make an impact in our communities, one life at a time!!
GOD IS GOOD. . ALL THE TIME!!
