365 Days of Kindness ~ Day 21

**DAY 21 CHALLENGE**

Today, I challenge everyone to make a donation to a local family that lost everything in a house fire. To read the full story CLICK HERE – credit WTOL!! Amy and Kevin Engel –
had no renters insurance. They are living in a hotel, but with no insurance they are running out of options and truly need our help. They will need everything to start over. They have a 9 yr old boy, and a 13 year old girl. If you have any extra furniture, clothing, food, and/or want to make a monetary donation. Clothing size for the family of the fire

• Daughter – size 0-1
• Son – 10-12
• Kevin (dad) size 3X.

You can attach a 365 Days of Kindness Card (YOU CAN PRINT THE CARDS BY CLICKING HERE). The purpose of printing the cards is that the recipient can then recycle it and pass the card on by doing another random act of kindness.  My vision is that this will continue and continue until EVERYONE is involved in some capacity.   Who’s in? I am praying that everyone gets involved in this. 365 Days of Kindness ~ Day 2

I think I will start posting the night before so everyone can like and share with their friends and family. Let’s get everyone we know involved in this movement of 365 Days of Kindness:)

**DAY 2 CHALLENGE**

Today, I challenge everyone to find an elderly, shut-in, or neighbor and shovel their driveway and sidewalk. We will be driving around later and the boys and Jamie will be doing a few randomly. Another thing is if you go to the gas station, pump someone’s gas for them so they can stay warm in their car. So many ways to bless someone today.  Make sure to include a 365 Days of Kindness Card (YOU CAN PRINT THE CARDS ABOVE BY CLICKING HERE IF YOU’D LIKE) or you can hand write one. They say, “Reuse this card and surprise a stranger with a random act of kindness!”  The hope is the recipient will then use the card to pass the blessing on to someone else and it will continue and NEVER end.   Who’s in? I am praying that everyone gets involved in this. None of us can help everyone, but all of us can help someone, and when we do we serve Jesus. We can make an impact in our communities, one life at a time!!

365 Days of Kindness ~ Day 1

**DAY 1 CHALLENGE**

Today, I challenge everyone that can to go through a drive thru and pay for the car behind you. . It can be as easy as Tim Horton’s or McDonald’s.  Make sure to include a 365 Days of Kindness Card (YOU CAN PRINT THE CARDS ABOVE BY CLICKING HERE IF YOU’D LIKE) or you can hand write one. They say, “Please recycle this card and pass it on!”  The hope is the recipient will then use the card to pass the blessing on to someone else and it will continue and NEVER end.   Who’s in? I am praying that everyone gets involved in this. None of us can help everyone, but all of us can help someone, and when we do we serve Jesus. We can make an impact in our communities, one life at a time!!

**DAY 6 CHALLENGE**

Today, I challenge everyone to donate 5-items (nonperishable or hygienic) to a local food bank, shelter, or family you may know in need.  Please remember food stamps ONLY cover foods so many families have to go without the necessities, i.e. toothpaste, feminine care products, deodorant, etc.  These items are always greatly appreciated.  Please  also include one of the 365 Days of Kindness cards  HERE!   Who’s in? I am praying that everyone gets involved in this. None of us can help everyone, but all of us can help someone, and when we do we serve Jesus. We can make an impact in our communities, one life at a time!!

**DAY 4 CHALLENGE**

I am challenging everyone to send a “thinking of you” or “encouraging” card to a complete stranger.  Now this is the fun part. . . How are we going to find that stranger?  Honestly, I am sooooooo excited I can’t hardly stand it:)

We are going to search the white pages by CLICKING HERE. . . Now when this screen pops up

Go to the “Find a Business” side and type in the city you currently live in and see what other states have your city in it, i.e. I did Toledo and it came up in 9 other states. . So pick one of those states, now go over to the “Find People” side and type in  your last name in the appropriate box – as seen above, and the city, and state you picked. . . Several people with the same last name or similar to yours will pop up. . . see below (the 1st three will be in a box and say  “people search”, which is a paid site, so stick to the ones that look like the ones below and say “see full listing”)

Pick one of those people on your list, click on the underlined name, and it will give you their address. Now send them a card, you can print FREE ones online HERE, or hand write a note to them stating you prayed for them, they were Day 4 of our 365 Days of Kindness, and then enclose one of the 365 Days of Kindness cards (you can print here)!!  We had a great suggestion from one of our readers, Carla, who is putting a stamp in her card, so the kindness can continue:)    I would ask you all to pray for who God would have you choose when doing this task.  I am most excited about this one so far because this is a total RANDOM act of kindness!!  Whose in? I am praying that everyone gets involved in this. None of us can help everyone, but all of us can help someone, and when we do we serve Jesus. We can make an impact in our communities, one life at a time!!

Tonight I am posting day 3 of 365 Days of Kindness. I am challenging everyone to find a laundromat and insert all the quarters in the machine (make sure you don’t push them through or the cycle will start as soon as the door closes) and attach a card (YOU CAN PRINT THE CARDS BY CLICKING HERE). You can also tape quarters on the back of the cards and tape to the dryers. This is such a cool way to show the Love of Christ to others. I am praying that everyone gets involved in this. None of us can help everyone, but all of us can help someone, and when we do we serve Jesus. We can make an impact in our communities, one life at a time!!

So many AWESOME stories from Day 1 of 365 days of Kindness. It is so encouraging and exciting to watch God at work. THANK YOU JESUS!!

Tonight I am posting day 2’s a little early, because this is a special one to me. As many of you know I am on our local radio station 101.5 The River weekly (every Friday) with Mary Beth and Rick. Well, about two months ago Mary Beth was diagnosed with cancer and she has been undergoing chemotherapy. CLICK HERE to read Mary Beth’s story! They have been off due to the holidays, but tomorrow is their first day back on the radio (and if I am not mistaken Mary Beth will undergone her next chemo treatment on Thursday) and I thought it would be so wonderful for her e-mail box to be full of encouraging words. Even if all you write is “I am praying for you” “I am thinking about you” “Be blessed”  I know any note of encouragement would be appreciated by Mary Beth. How simply amazing would that be and it doesn’t cost us anything, but I know this would make her feel so AWESOME. I love Mary Beth so much and she and Rick have allowed me to share my ministry on the air every single week and I think this is a wonderful way to PASS THE BLESSING ON. . .
