Just got home from the funeral home and tomorrow we will say “see you later” to one of the most loving, generous, caring, Godly men I have ever met, Michael Beam. I cannot even tell you how sad my heart is, but I truly am rejoicing for him, because I know he is in a much better place and he always told us, I am ready to go whenever God is ready to take me. We had a deal though that if he outlived me, he would sing “I saw the light” at my funeral. He had one of the most beautiful voices. I remember about a month ago he came over and sat by me at church. I was having a down day and he said I am supposed to give you this message from God. There is no way he knew what I was struggling w/that day and the message he gave me was exactly the words I needed. He then stood next to me and we sang our little hearts out, praising God and just loving on each other!! I will miss hearing him call me “bunches”. Michael I love you bunches and will never ever forget you, but when I get to heaven we are going to celebrate!!!
