Toledo, Ohio’s Uplifting & Family Friendly 102.3 Proclaim FM is so, so thankful to Joni and FreeTastesGood.com for what they are doing to help people and ministries via great money-saving ideas on this blog! We’re also so thankful for her kind offer to share with you, her readers about our mission and financial need.
We believe that Christian media should not just be “as good as “ regular, “secular” media…but leading the media scene. As such, we’ve taken steps in Toledo to communicate the good news of Jesus in more and more relevant, excellent, professional ways. But this requires a significant amount of financial resources.
Our goal is to raise a minimum of $102,300. We are asking for partners that would also be willing to invest an additional $15,000 which would allow us to upgrade a number of pieces of equipment (or purchase to begin with). Some of these equipment needs include an RDS unit to transmit artist name and song title for HD and digital radios being installed in today’s vehicles, a sound processor for our online stream, upgrades to our website to provide our listeners and online visitors with more information that they’re looking for, and also remote broadcasting equipment that would allow us to do broadcast quality remote appearances in order to support our community with uplifting, family-friendly, Christian media. Station computers are also in need of replacement, as a number of them are used, aged donated computers from a local university that do not adequately serve the needs of the ministry.
