Can’t go wrong with stir-fry. This recipe is no exception. Quick, easy, and so delicious. The great thing about stir-fry is that you can use any veggies you like, the more the merrier I always say.
Homemade Freezer Chicken Stir Fry Recipe

You can also make homemade marinade/stir fry sauce or you can just purchase a bottle and save time. Either way, it is the perfect meal.
For all freezer meals make sure to label your freezer bag with the name of the recipe, cooking instructions, and prep date. Freezer meals can be frozen for up to 3 months.
- 4 cups fresh vegetables – we used broccoli, carrots, green peppers, red peppers, and squash
- 2 large chicken breasts
- 1 bottle of Stir Fry Sauce
- Chop up chicken breasts into bite sized pieces.
- Place chicken along with 4 tablespoons of stir fry sauce in a sandwich bag.
- Set aside
- Wash and prepare Vegetables by chopping into bite sized pieces.
- Blanche vegetables in a pot of generously salted boiling water.
- Remove blanched vegetables from water.
- Spread out vegetables on parchment lined cookie sheet and let cool completely.
- Place in freezer for 2 hours or until frozen solid
- Remove from freezer and break up frozen vegetables by hand.
- Place in a gallon-size freezer bag.
- Place sandwich-sized bag of chicken in gallon-size bag with frozen vegetables
- Let the hamburger mixture cool before putting in a gallon-size freezer bag.
- Label with name of recipe, cooking instructions, and prep date (Can freeze up to 3 months)
- Allow to defrost overnight in the refrigerator.
- Stirfry the meat with a little oil in a woke or large skillet for a few minutes until cooked through
- Add frozen vegetablets and 5-6 tablespoons of stirfry sauce and cook on high, stirrig frequently for 3-5 minutes or until vegetables are softened.
We love to serve this over rice – AWESOME!!
Here are some other awesome things about freezer-to-crockpot meals:
- Most of these meals require no cooking ahead of time, so that means the recipes are very easy to prep.
- The meals cook for the first time out of the freezer so they don’t taste like leftovers (BUT leftovers are okay right?!)
- For us that coupon, we can take advantage of all the sales and freeze a couple at a time. (Most freezer meals will last for at least 3 months.)
