**GOD-SIZED DREAM – NOT COUPON RELATED**
So anyone who knows me and my family knows when we dream, it is God-sized dreams. Dreams that we truly feel are inspired by God. A month ago we felt the nudging from God to do the FREE Laundromat Day and it was so amazing. . . God was definitely glorified. It was all about him and nothing to do with any of us that volunteered. Since Saturday night, Jamie and I have both had an unsettling feeling in our spirit and spent a lot of time last night in prayer asking God for clarity and direction on what he wanted us to do next. . . well, as I type this into existence I know it sounds crazy, because it is such a BIG DREAM, but it is truly a God-sized dream. . and through Christ ALL things are possible. It was placed on our heart to do a FREE Laundromat Day for the ENTIRE CITY OF TOLEDO. . . . yes, to get every single laundromat in the City of Toledo to come on board and for 3 hours (same day/same time) for every laundromat to provide FREE laundry service. We are getting it all in order and then going to make a plea to the public to get churches and businesses and families involved. . for them to “adopt” a laundromat and pay for the laundry for those 3 hours (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.) and get the volunteers. So far we know of 25 different laundromats in Toledo, but we need to go visit each of them so we know what it would cost to cover each one for 3 hours. We also want to do it soon (thinking April). I know many will say that is too soon to try to plan something of this magnitude, but I am here to tell you nothing is too BIG for our God and I will also share why I want to do it so soon. Some of you may not agree and that is okay, but I will share my feelings. First I will make the comparison to Hurricane Sandy. I made a plea on a Friday night at 11 p.m. and by the next day, Saturday, by 4 p.m. in the afternoon, we had filled, 6, 24- to 32-foot long trucks full of supplies and enough money to get all the trucks there plus the gas money and toll fees and we were only trying to fill a 14-foot truck. Why did this happen? I believe, because it was God-inspired. We serve a God that created the universe. . he can do so much more than we think or even imagine. Why not dream BIG dreams and put it in his hands? When we try to plan and get it perfect, it is no longer God-inspired, it is more human-inspired. I agree with organization, etc, because I am an overachiever, but when we put it in God’s hands, HE CAN DO IT PERFECTLY, exactly the way he wants it done. When we get too many involved in the planning, and wait for months and months, then it becomes man-inspired. This was God-inspired and I want it to continue that way. I also look at it this way, most businesses and churches will know if they want to “adopt” a laundromat or not. It will not take months to decide. We have already done it so I will meet with them and explain who to organize it the day of. Also, it will vary in price between $500 for small laundromats to $1300 for larger laundromats, so when we make the sign-up (adoption list) it will be specific how much money is needed to cover that Laundromat for 3 hours. Can you imagine the impact we could have in our community. . 3 hours of FREE Laundry in the ENTIRE CITY of TOLEDO all for the GLORY OF GOD!!! The only way this is going to take place is with ALL OF US JOINING TOGETHER IN PRAYER and then spreading the word. I am hoping by early next week to have the sign-up sheets ready (DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A FORM LIKE PERFECT POTLUCK THAT IS MORE FOR VOLUNTEERS), to make my pitch to the media, the churches, and businesses, and then let God do the rest. I am also asking for prayers for our family, because I know by typing this into existence Satan is going to come out against us in full force and we truly would appreciate the prayers during this planning process. We are so excited for this and know many lives will be impacted by his ministry.
