Beef and Broccoli is a dish we often order when we go out for Chinese. Here is a simple recipe that tastes pretty close to restaurant dishes we’ve shared. Again simple ingredients making for delicious flavor. Thinly sliced Flank steak is the staple, with fresh broccoli and a homemade sauce that really hits the spot.
Freezer to Crockpot Chinese Beef & Broccoli
The key to this meal is to cut the steak across the grain and keep it very thin. Mix the steak and the sauce together in the bag. In a separate bag put in the fresh cut broccoli, then place the bag with the steak and sauce inside the broccoli bag so they don’t combine. If you would rather use frozen broccoli such as Steamfresh, just freeze the steak and sauce by itself.
For all freezer meals make sure to label your freezer bag with the name of the recipe, cooking instructions, and prep date. Freezer meals can be frozen for up to 3 months.

Here are some other awesome things about freezer-to-crockpot meals:
- Most of these meals require no cooking ahead of time, so that means the recipes are very easy to prep.
- The meals cook for the first time out of the freezer so they don’t taste like leftovers (BUT leftovers are okay right?!)
