Chicken Fried Rice is another easy meal that takes very little prep work to pull together. It tastes so good and can be eaten alone or to compliment one of our other awesome Asian recipes. This is one all of our kids love!!
Homemade Freezer Chicken Fried Rice Recipe
This recipe starts with the rice which can be tricky. We use Success Rice because it turns out perfect every time, but you can use whatever you’re used to. Another thing to remember is that there are several frozen vegetable combinations and some are specifically for Asian dishes. Look through your grocers frozen veggie section to find the best one for you.
For all freezer meals make sure to label your freezer bag with the name of the recipe, cooking instructions, and prep date. Freezer meals can be frozen for up to 3 months.

Here are some other awesome things about freezer-to-crockpot meals:
- Most of these meals require no cooking ahead of time, so that means the recipes are very easy to prep.
- The meals cook for the first time out of the freezer so they don’t taste like leftovers (BUT leftovers are okay right?!)
- For us that coupon, we can take advantage of all the sales and freeze a couple at a time. (Most freezer meals will last for at least 3 months.)
