A most of you know, we are always praying how God would use our family to spread his word and help the least of these Matthew 25:40. Because that, I wanted to share a few things with everyone. I am sure most of you know, we do a FREE Community Dinner once a month and have for almost 4 years now. We also provide FREE Community Thanksgiving Dinner – last year we served closed to 400 people. This year we will be collecting items for care packages and we really need help with collecting items – toothpaste, deodorant, razors, shave cream, shampoo, body wash, toothbrushes, etc.

Also, for CHRISTmas we will be giving away gifts for the kids again. This is our 19th year doing our Miracle CHRISTmas party in honor and memory of my mom. BUT in addition, this year we would love to be able to give the adults a $5 Subway and/or McDonald’s gift cards (2 restaurants right next to church), plus thermal socks, gloves, hats, and warm blankets (many that we serve are homeless). I am really praying and believing that many will get involved.

Thirdly, our MAJOR GOD-SIZED DREAM – we are going to start checking into building small homes for the homeless. We will start making phone calls to the city this week to see exactly what we need to do. God has really been tugging on mine and Jamie’s hearts and I know it is his will for us to give more – for ALL of us to give more. We would LOVE to have 3 built by CHRISTmas time 🙂 We cannot just see a need and say “yea, well someone else will help” We need to see the need and have eyes and ears like Jesus, pray about it, wait for God to answer, and then move forward. God doesn’t call the equipped, he equips the called and I am saying “Here I am Lord, use me”. I hope many of you will also say that. Thanks for considering.
