I will start posting the night before so everyone can like and share with their friends and family. Let’s get everyone we know involved in this movement.
**DAY 100 CHALLENGE**
Today, I challenge everyone to send a thinking of you card to a family that was the recipient of Day 16 of 365 Days of Kindness, Kris Ensign or better yet, leave a message on her FB page BY CLICKING HERE.
Here is the latest update from the family. . .
We got some extremely sad news yesterday from Kris’ care team at the James Cancer Hospital at OSU. At this point, because the cancer is in her bone marrow, she has to have frequent blood transfusions and so chemo and radiation are no longer possible. This means there are no options left for treating the cancer. Kris will continue to get blood transfusions and platelets as needed but they are not sure how long her body will continue to tolerate the transfusions. They said eventually, her body will start rejecting them but they did not give us any time estimates. After a transfusion last night and some more platelets today, Kris was discharged from the hospital at about 2:30 and is now at her home with Mom & Dad and her dogs, Duke, Muddy, Nokona and UConn.
We met with a nurse from HomeReach Hospice today at the Hospital and they will begin services soon at her house.
Obviously, this is not what we wanted to hear. If there was more fight to be had, we all know Kris would say, “Yes!” and continue to fight at all costs. We are hopeful that we will still have a good long time with her as long as she’s free of pain and comfortable.
Thanks everyone for your prayers, support, offers to help, etc. It has been very comforting during this difficult time.
With love and appreciation on behalf of all the Ensigns”
I am asking each of you to take a few minutes out of your day to either send them a card or leave a message for them on FB letting them know they are loved and she is being prayed for.
There are many sites that allow you to print FREE cards. To print Thinking of You Cards CLICK HERE. If you would rather purchase a card, please feel free to do that also. I would ask you to also pray for the recipient of these cards.
You can mail cards to:

I hope everyone gets involved in this challenge. We truly can show the love of Christ in such a small, small way! None of us can help everyone, but all of us can help someone, and when we do we serve Jesus. We can make an impact in our communities, one life at a time!!
GOD IS GOOD. . ALL THE TIME!!
