**DAY 87 CHALLENGE**

**This will start being our challenge every Friday. I want us to send a card to a stranger in every state. Each week, pick a different state and just keep track of it. Then weeks 51 and 52 we will send a CHRISTmas Card and a New Year Card.**

So today, I am challenging everyone to send a “thinking of you” or “encouraging” card to a complete stranger.  Now this is the fun part. . . How are we going to find that stranger?  Honestly, I am sooooooo excited I can’t hardly stand it:)

**DAY 86 CHALLENGE**

Today, I challenge everyone to go to a Redbox and place a note that says “use Code ‘March 27″ for a FREE rental today only, 3/27”. What a great surprise/blessing for someone to receive. It doesn’t cost us anything, but would be a huge blessing to the person receiving it. We also include one of the 365 Days of Kindness cards BY CLICKING HERE or make your own.  I hope everyone gets involved in this challenge. We truly can show the love of Christ in such a small, small way and bring so much joy to this young boy:) None of us can help everyone, but all of us can help someone, and when we do we serve Jesus. We can make an impact in our communities, one life at a time!!

**DAY 85 CHALLENGE**

Today, I challenge everyone to send a Thank you email to Isaiah’s Band teacher, Mr. Buckholtz, CBuckholtz@sylvaniaschools.org. As most of you know, Isaiah has a significant learning disability and has faced many challenges in life. Mr. Buckholtz has went above and beyond as a teacher to help Isaiah learn. He has encouraged him and taught him in such a way that Isaiah wants to do his absolute best. When Isaiah does well he goes out of his way to praise him.  He even went so far as to call me the other day when Isaiah got a 20/20 on a test.  Now that is a SPECIAL TEACHER!!  I was raised by parents that when someone went above and beyond for us and did a good job, we were to acknowledge them. I want Mr. Buckholtz to know what he is doing for the kids in the class and how he has encouraged Isaiah has not went unnoticed. That it does matter and is appreciated.  I would love to flood his email box to know how much he is appreciated as a teacher. **DAY 84 CHALLENGE**

Today, I challenge everyone to  make up “food care packages” to take to the hospital waiting rooms or the Ronald McDonald House (For anyone in the Toledo Area the Ronald McDonald House is beyond thrilled to hear about this) Packages can be dropped off anytime day or night as they are opened 24 hours per Rachel).  What prompted this challenge was an email from a follower who stated when her child was in the hospital, she had very limited money and really could not afford to go to the cafeteria and she suggested this idea and I LOVE it:)

We included Barilla Meals, Sara Lee Snacks, Hunt’s pudding snacks, Mojo bars, crystal light, fork and/or spoon. (All of these have been FREE/CHEAP within the last month at Kroger) We then enclosed a 365 Days of Kindness cards (YOU CAN PRINT THE CARDS ABOVE BY CLICKING HERE IF YOU’D LIKE) and put all the items in a gallon-size Hefty bag. This is such an easy way to show the love of Christ and really help a family out. Even if you can only make one care package, that is SIMPLY AMAZING, because one package will feed one person who might NOT have a meal otherwise. . . so it is a HUGE BLESSING!! Don’t discount the smallness of any deed, Jesus performed the miracle with 5 loaves and 2 fish and fed 5000 so he can do the same with ONE food care package!! My kids and Jamie and I prayed over every bag.  We prayed for God’s blessings on whomever received it.  Who’s in? I am praying that everyone gets involved in this. None of us can help everyone, but all of us can help someone, and when we do we serve Jesus. We can make an impact in our communities, one life at a time!!

**DAY 83 CHALLENGE**

Today, I challenge everyone to  make up Baby Blessing Baskets and take to a Pregnancy Center. We are taking ours to Heartbeat of Toledo to bless two moms. So may women are struggling with their pregnancies because they are alone and this is such an easy way to show them the love of Christ. If you have a Krogers nearby, you know the Huggies and baby wipes had some amazing deals and still do this week so it was an easy blessing. Even if you can only afford one package of wipes, that is an unexpected blessing to a mom. We attached a 365 Days of Kindness card so the person receiving it can pass it on –  (YOU CAN PRINT THE CARDS BY CLICKING HERE). It is small act, but could be a Huge blessing to someone! The purpose of printing the cards is that the recipient can then recycle it and pass the card on by doing another random act of kindness.  My vision is that this will continue and continue until EVERYONE is involved in some capacity.    Who’s in? I am praying that everyone gets involved in this. None of us can help everyone, but all of us can help someone, and when we do we serve Jesus. We can make an impact in our communities, one life at a time!!

**DAY 82 CHALLENGE**

Today, I challenge everyone to donate 5-items (nonperishable or hygienic) to a local food bank, shelter, or family you may know in need.  Please remember food stamps ONLY cover foods so many families have to go without the necessities, i.e. toothpaste, feminine care products, deodorant, etc.  These items are always greatly appreciated.  Please  also include one of the 365 Days of Kindness cards  HERE or make your own.   Who’s in? I am praying that everyone gets involved in this. None of us can help everyone, but all of us can help someone, and when we do we serve Jesus. We can make an impact in our communities, one life at a time!!

**DAY 81 CHALLENGE**

Chocolate Sandwich Cookies II ~  

Ingredients
1 (18.25 ounce) package dark chocolate cake mix
1 (18.25 ounce) package low calorie chocolate cake mix
4 eggs
2/3 cup vegetable oil
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 cups confectioners’ sugar

Directions

1.  Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Lightly grease cookie sheets.

2.  In a medium bowl, stir together the dark and light chocolate cake mix. Add the eggs and oil, mix until well blended. Roll dough into 2 inch balls, and place them onto the prepared cookie sheet. Flatten the balls slightly with the back of a spoon.

3.  Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, until firm. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before removing to cool on wire racks.

4.  To make the filling, beat the cream cheese and confectioner’ sugar together until smooth. Spread between two cooled cookies.

Today, I challenge everyone to bake cookies or cupcakes or any treat (we are making the Rocky Road Brownies) or even store bought and take to a public service worker, i.e. fire station, police station, etc.  It could even be your local bank, gas station, or hair salon.  Make sure to attach a ‘Thank you” and also include one of the 365 Days of Kindness cards  HERE!   Who’s in? I am praying that everyone gets involved in this. None of us can help everyone, but all of us can help someone, and when we do we serve Jesus. We can make an impact in our communities, one life at a time!!

**DAY 79 CHALLENGE**

Today, I challenge everyone to donate to our FREE oil change. We will be changing oil in 20 cars for FREE. To so many struggling financially, getting their oil changed is a luxury.  What a cool way to bless others by changing their oil for FREE.

**DAY 78 CHALLENGE**

Today, I challenge everyone to do something out of the ordinary for someone that has impacted your life.  You can send them a thank you card, an encouraging card, or a card just to tell them they made a difference in your life.  I am sure you will brighten their day to know you thought of them.
