No matter what you are facing in life, remember God is BIGGER!

When we go through struggles, how do we respond? So often, we become discouraged, but God’s word says in John 16:33 ““I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” God gives us peace, a peace that passes all understanding, but we have to stand on His promises, on His word, and meditate on it day and night. When you find yourself in the midst of a dark time, Rejoice, because God is up to something or Satan wouldn’t be working so hard to discourage you.

We often have no words or even know what to say when we pray, but that isn’t what God is looking for. God wants to hear our heart and sometimes that means we don’t even know what to say, but Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. God hears our prayers, NOT because of what we say, but because of the one who hears it. Today, give it all to God, knowing he is in control. need to look through our spiritual eyes and not our human eyes, because when we do we become consumed with worry.

We need to look through our spiritual eyes and not our human eyes, because when we do we become consumed with worry. No matter what anything looks like, we have to remember that God is in complete control and He can see the FULL picture. No need to worry, He has our back. Matthew 6:34 “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.”

Even if people or circumstances attempt to keep you down, we need to face adversity in life by standing courageously like the victorious overcomer God made us to be. What a mighty God we serve. Romans 12:2 “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing, and perfect will.

So many times we need to get rid of our plans, so God can do HIS plan for our lives. It may not look like we had planned or happen in the order we had planned, but we need to remember that God is in control and His ways will ALWAYS be better than our ways. If things Don’t be like the people of this world, but let God change the way you think. When we things are falling apart, they are actually falling into place. Today, no matter what you are facing, Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart and Lean NOT on your own understanding. He is faithful – ALWAYS!!

When we experience those things in life that we just don’t understand, we have to choose whether or not we’re going to trust God.
It’s not being optimistically foolish to trust God no matter what; it’s what we call faith. It’s in that in between when we don’t have all the answers, and we don’t know if everything will turn out okay that we come to know what real faith is.
Real faith isn’t a hopeful wish. Real faith is making the decision that no matter the outcome, we’ll choose to see it as God’s perfect answer.
Through the good, through the not so good, and even through the down right awful we will trust God. Now this doesn’t mean we won’t cry and express hurt. It does mean we’ve decided it’s better to have lived trying to take leaps of faith with God, than to walk away from Him. – Lysa TerKeurst

John 10:10 says “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” Satan comes to cause us pain and make us think that WE cannot do anything. The truth is we CANNOT, but we can do ALL things through Christ. Rather than looking at what is around us, we need to use our spiritual eyes and stay focused on what is above.

So often we get our value from others. What others think of us, etc. But we need to remember that we were chosen by our creator. We will never be alone, even when we feel like it; He is right beside us. Today, remember you are a masterpiece created in God’s image – not the image of others.

James 1:2-4 “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” No matter how you are facing or how dark it looks, know in the end we win if we have given our lives to Christ. Usually during those trials is when God is about to do something BIG and why Satan is fighting so hard. Take heart, He has overcome the world. Today, let your light shine in this dark world.
